Mr. Woolmaker has been teaching at the Georgia School for the Deaf for over
18 years. He currently teaches K-12 Arts. He also is the coach of the Varsity Girls Basketball team. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Design from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)/ National Technical Institute of the Deaf (NTID) and received Master of Science in Deaf Education from Western Maryland College. He has served in the Peace Corps in the Philippines.
Mr. Woolmaker has seen many changes throughout the years. It has been a rewarding experience for him to see his students grow and achieve despite the challenges that they are facing. He believes that no matter how hard it is, you can always try again, and again, until you achieve your goal.
Mr. Woolmakers expectation for each of his students is to perform to their full potential in any academic area and in life.
